Microblading or doing anything “permanent” is a big step! That’s why I want to talk about MY experience getting my brows microbladed!
It wasn’t until a few months after I started microblading that I decided it was time to have it done on myself! No more brow pencils and attempts to make them even on my own everyday? Sign me up.
I was so excited, but also super nervous! While I do have a high pain tolerance, I didn’t like the idea of getting a tattoo ON MY FACE!!
I was also nervous about the shape…Luckily, she let me make any and all changes I wanted once she drew it out, so that I felt perfectly comfortable moving onto the next step….
THE TATTOOING! And I have to say, the pain really wasn’t all that bad. I expected it to feel like getting a normal tattoo, but it was MUCH less intense, mainly because we don’t go as deep into the skin.
By the end of it, I was definitely sore and felt like I couldn’t raise my brows without some pain. But once I got home and cleaned them once, they felt perfectly fine!
Overall, the experience was great. The artist who I went to made sure I felt comfortable the whole time and re-numbed me as needed, which I do for my clients as well.
I’d love to hear from you! Does microblading make you nervous like it did for me? Feel free to email me back or text/call me at 443-896-4844! :)
